This survey aims to gather intelligence about how organizations are specifying software services - a service that is accessed through a digital Service Interface. In this context a service specification is defined as a thorough description of what a service does, including operation behavior and service quality levels. The service specification may exist at varying levels of abstraction including outline or description, implementation independent and implementation specific.
The purpose of the survey is to understand general practice in order to inform Everware-CBDI R&D efforts in the area of automation support for the service specification task.
The survey is intended to be completed by software or service architects, designers or project managers. Survey completion time should not exceed 10 minutes.
